Supporting a Mentally Healthy Workforce: Keys to Meeting Today's Challenges

Melissa Back Tamburo, PhD, LCSW, CEAP, has over 30 years of leadership, academic, clinical, and account management experience in the field of employee assistance and work/life programs. She currently serves as the Director of Optima EAP, a Virginia-based EAP that serves over 300,000 members.

She has a broad range of expertise including conducting quality analyses, demonstrating outcomes, network development, and providing clinical services to individuals and groups.  Dr. Tamburo holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree and Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland. She is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Employee Assistance Professional.
