Organizational dynamics is the focus of Part II of this DEI series.
As policies, practices, and perspectives change around diversity, equity, and inclusion, HR professionals may find themselves caught between what feels like a rock and a moral hard place. Individuals are feeling the heightened tensions between personal values and workplace obligations related to sustaining diverse communities. Ideally, there is alignment, but there is often conflict. This session is driven by dialogue and engagement.
SHRM Learning Objectives:
(1) Explore personal and organizational values intersecting with diversity, equity, and inclusion;
(2) Use "relationship mapping" to determine how organizations and stakeholders impact moral actions; and
(3) Collectively explore case studies connected to workplace DEI and moral conflicts.
