Managing the Chronically Absent Employee. Brian will cover legal issues related to chronic absences and attendance issues, including the FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation.
Speaker: Brian Muse, Attorney at Sands Anderson

Speaker Bio: Brian focuses his practice on counseling, mediating, arbitrating and litigating matters involving employment issues such as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims. He has also successfully litigated business tort matters involving non-competition agreements, non-solicitation agreements and corporate trade secrets in multiple states and jurisdictions. Brian also has extensive experience representing businesses in Federal lawsuits alleging violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act's Public Accommodation and Access requirements. Brian is the author of the ADAmusings.com, a blog that provides information to businesses about ADA compliance and lawsuit avoidance.
He also counsels employers to assist them in avoiding litigation and governmental investigations. This includes providing onsite training and seminars to clients addressing anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies and drafting and reviewing employment contracts and handbooks.
