SHRM Learning Objective: Develop Pay Program Aligned with Business Strategy

Successful organizations set goals and outline a course of action to achieve those goals in a strategic planning process.  HR can use a similar approach with pay program development.  In this discussion, we will explore opportunities to engage leaders in strategic pay program development to ensure alignment with the business strategy and to create employee rewards for achieving goals.
Attendees will learn how to:
  1. Engage senior leadership in key decisions and steps in pay program development
  2. Articulate the organization’s level of pay competitiveness, and where to find reliable pay data sources
  3. Guide managers in a proactive process to make informed pay decisions
  4. Lead efforts in determining the best approach to pay transparency
  5. Find meaningful ways to communicate compensation at your organization
