VIRTUAL MEETING

SHRM Learning Objective: family caregivers in the workforce

Family caregiving is an issue that affects the vast majority of Americans
in some way. Most fall into one of these categories: they are caregivers
now, have been in the past, will be in the future or will need care
themselves, (source, AARP). As our population ages, the demands on family
caregivers only increase and impact all workplaces. What can employers do to
address these issues?

Participants will leave with strategies for recognizing and supporting
employees’ needs, and tips for improving productivity and fostering a stable
and healthy workforce. The speakers each bring a unique perspective to the
conversation: Tiffany Speas is a professional in the Aging field and a
caregiver for her grandmother. Anne-Lise Gere, SPHR through her HR
consulting work with Senior Care companies across the country, has developed
a keen expertise in the field of senior care and aging in place.

Speaker: Anne-lise gere and tiffany speas

Speaker Bio:

Tiffany Speas, MSM
CFO, PAA

Tiffany Speas, MSM has an amazing job! Everyday she works with dedicated
professionals to improve the lives of seniors in our communities. She does
all the things a CFO does like strategize, analyze, and practice
participative management. She’s also blessed with the opportunity to lead
the areas of Finance, Business Planning, Budgeting and Human Resources. All
of those things are exciting and interesting, but she thinks the best part
of her role as CFO is that at the end of every day she goes home and shares
with her family how much of a difference they made in people's lives through
PAA’s programs and services. What could be better than that?
